The College of Natural Sciences at Seoul National University (SNU) invites applications for postdoctoral fellow positions, designated as SNU Science Fellows, in all fields of the basic sciences, including astronomy, biology, chemistry, earth and environmental sciences, mathematics, physics and statistics.
Applicants must hold a PhD or MD degree (or equivalent). The position provides outstanding opportunities for academic and professional growth with investigators at the College of Natural Sciences at SNU. Applicants will work with a host faculty at the College of Natural Sciences at SNU, and should arrange for a letter of reference from the host when submitting their applications.
The SNU Science Fellows will be supported by the Core Research Institute project funded by the NRF (National Research Foundation of South Korea) and MEST (Ministry of Education and Science Technology of South Korea). The selected fellows will be supported up to two and half years until February 28, 2022, which can be extended upon mutual agreement, and will receive a stipend of 48 million KRW. Applicants are required to start their research as SNU Science Fellows before March 1, 2020.
